Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions that come up most before a first session.

Getting started

What happens in a first session?

The first session is mostly about understanding what’s brought you in — your situation, what you’ve already tried, and what support could look like. There’s no obligation to continue after it.

How do I book an appointment?

Call, message on WhatsApp, or use the contact form — you’ll hear back to confirm a time that works.

What should I expect to pay?

[Fee information to be added once confirmed — publishing this here reduces enquiry friction.]

Sessions

Are sessions online, offline, or both?

Both. Sessions run from the DLF Phase 1 practice in Gurugram, or online by video call — whichever suits you.

How long is each session?

[Confirm standard session length, e.g. 45–50 minutes.]

How often will I need to attend?

This is agreed together and reviewed as therapy progresses; there’s no fixed schedule set in advance.

Confidentiality & trust

Is what I share confidential?

Yes — sessions are confidential, with standard safety-related exceptions explained clearly at the outset.

What are the exceptions to confidentiality?

Standard safety-related exceptions apply (such as risk of harm to yourself or others), explained clearly in the first session.

Practical

Where is the practice located?

A46, DLF Phase 1, Gurugram, Haryana, 122002.

What are your hours?

Monday–Sunday, 11am–8pm, by appointment only.

Do you work with children?

Yes — see the Child Counselling page for details.
